Morning Peeps!

Well, it’s our 15th wedding anniversary today! (How exactly??!!??)

I’m not going to waffle on soppily about how wonderful he is because you’ve already had that on his birthday (Happy Birthday Mr.B!!) but I want to share a bit about marriage and what it means.

We made a promise in front of God, for always. That in itself is a beautiful thing, as is being there for each other always. He’s been there with me through mourning and sickness and pain and hormone-related tantrums…as well as all the nice stuff.

A large chunk of the middle of our marriage was stressful with work (literally 21-hour days when we were self-employed), house moves, and debt (see Why We Have A Budget) but we stuck together and worked at it.

We’ve had so many good times…a sense of humour helps overcome a lot! We have a beautiful daughter, cute fur-babies and a lovely home in an idyllic town. We have paid our debts and sought self-improvement through learning new skills and focusing on our health. We have hopes and dreams and God-given work for the future…so more excitement to come!

We’re by no means perfect, but we’re happy. I pray this for your relationships too.
