Helloooooooooooo Peeps!
(Can you tell I’m a bit hyper?) It is a mere 5 weeks until Saint Victoria’s day (Christmas Eve eve, if you prefer) so I am busy preparing. 🙂 🙂 🙂
The song ‘it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’ doesn’t even cut it anymore…we’re in full-blown Christmas mode! I love everything about it, even the preparations others seem to despise.
A couple of weeks ago I shared a post, The Spring Cleaning Plan! and have been working on it when I can in preparation for the decorations going up. Normally, this would be done next weekend (last one of November) but the teenager and I will not be here as we are going to a massive Christmas market!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
This means the decs will have to go up after school the following week. This also means that this weekend right now is my chance to do the big cleaning jobs! Trust me, this is the only time I’m ever excited about cleaning! I am not a naturally tidy person, but Christmas spirit is an amazing motivator!
Short of singing ‘a spoonful of sugar’ at you, I don’t know how to express it any clearer; find the joy in the task and accomplish the goal…
With that in mind, I’m off to dig out the carpet washer and the bleach!
