Hi-de-hi Peeps!
It’s kinda chaotic here at the moment but very exciting, so I thought I’d share an update. ๐
I’ve been a bit slack on the blogging front as some days this stupid bug gets the better of me, so sorry for that. Also, if you follow my faith posts, I haven’t forgotten to do one… I’m just researching a couple of big posts that need Bible references and such (taking longer than I hoped, sorry again, but hopefully, it will be worth the wait).
Aside from spending the last month (since Christmas! 11 months to go peeps!) passing this flu-type thing around our family, I’ve also been busy with a few other projects (if you know me at all, you’ll know how much I like this doing ‘6 things at once’). I’ve already told you that I work with the toddler group and that’s been amazing; we’re getting new people come almost every week, I’m meeting new friends and having a great time planning and doing crafts with the kids. They seem to love making almost as much as I do! ๐
Speaking of crafting, I told you I had a secret a few weeks ago, well I’m in the process of stocking my new online shop with my crafts, all being well it should launch next week!…Obviously, I’ll keep you posted so watch this space! ๐ ๐ ๐
Aside from this, I’m still doing after-school tuition, having taken on 3 new pupils in November and 2 this year…ย I love how every child has their own interests, style, opinions and everything that makes them unique….ย their ‘muchness’ to quote the Mad Hatter. My days are sometimes tiring, but always enjoyable and most definitely different from each other! It’s the best side of teaching, seeing them learn and grow in personality. ๐
Also, I’m desperate to start a new course I’ve seen online about working with children with additional needs, but have to finish my child psychology first….ย hmmm should really do something about that (not done a module yet in 2018…ooops!)……
As of today’s online groceries being delivered, we’re going to slowly work in more healthy food and wean off this sugar-dependancy we’ve had since Christmas…slow progress, but heading the right way.
Anyhoo, enough about me. Mr.B is also working hard to learn a new skill around his current job so hopefully, he can switch over at some point to his new profession…more on that when he’s ready.
The teenager has been poorly ๐ฆ but apart from that, she’s awesome. She’s almost a year older and practically the same height as me! She’s had a great school report and is looking ahead to GCSE s and A-Levels now that theย New Grading Systemย is fully in place (was only core subjects last year, so we didn’t know what she’d need under new levels). We have parent’s evening next week to look forward to…well, I look forward to it, she groans at the idea of staying at school longer. ๐
So I think you’re all caught up now if there’s anything else, then I’ll let you know.
How are you doing so far this year? I’d love to hear from you! ๐
Have a good one.
Anna x
Wow, you have been busy. We had that awful flu over Christmas which required anti biotics to clear chest infections but thankfully we are over it now. I do not know anyone who didn’t have the same symptoms. Sounds like your on your feet and keeping busy, look forward to reading more. Ian
