Balancing the Books

Hi-de-hi Peeps!

Really feels like summer today! (Long may it last!)

I’m doing extra work today and it gets busier as we get nearer the summer holidays… the upside of extra work is extra cash…having money left over is always a pleasant position to be in, but past experience teaches me not to blow it (tempting as it may be).

We tithe, have a treat or buy something we need, and then put the rest away. The thing is that while there may be excess this month, there may not be next month, especially if an unexpected bill comes up.

So I guess I’m just trying to remind us all not to blow all of our money but to save it for another month. The plus-side of this is that if you don’t need it, the money can go into your savings for future goals! 🙂
