Sorry for the lack of blog yesterday, was a bit crazy here. When I did the Last Minute Gift Ideas post last week, I promised this handmade ideas blog….so here we go:
I can’t say homemade gifts and not mention Pioneer Woman’s treats: Cookies and sweets are always a quick and easy gift…here are a few of my fave PW recipes:
Other than Pioneer Woman, I also think of Kirstie!
My favourite Kirstie recipe (and yours according to my blog stats) is the Pear and Walnut Chutney.
Kirstie doesn’t just do food though. A couple of years ago she made lip balm and cross-stitch necklaces…we’ve done both of those as gifts and they’re really quick to make.
Other favourite gifts of mine to make are: Spiced Blueberry Jam or Apple Jam, Key-rings (out of anything from cross-stitch to Scrabble letters) or layered ingredient jars for baking (like this one).
So I hope that’s given you a few ideas for any gifts you still need to sort.
