Hello Peeps!
On Thursday last week we had no power all day because they were working on the lines where they had been storm damaged.
We were so happy when it came back on and we had heat and light again! Said a little prayer of thanks and prayed for those without these luxuries and snuggled up to watch TV in our warm, safe, comfortable home.
This morning, almost a week later, I find myself thinking about it again (not for the first time this week) and just remembering to be thankful for what we’ve been given, what we can share and what is still to come!
It’s great to have something trigger prayer and praise, but I wouldn’t have thought something as simple as an electrical repair would have such an impact.
I guess it means we were taking it for granted, so I’m going to try not to.
