1st March is an important day for anyone with children moving up schools.
Today is the day to see if your little one got their first choice school.
If you didn’t get the school you expected, don’t panic. You can appeal the decision with your local authority. Be aware they prioritize by proximity and whether they have siblings at the school already.
If you can’t get the first choice school because they’re full or the L.A. reject your appeal, you can ask the school to go on their waiting list for a place and send the child to another school in the mean time.
