I’ve paid another rent today… it’s almost 4 years we’ve been here now (how the heck??!!) And it’s the most financially viable we’ve ever been; was definitely the right choice.
We decided against seeing the lion king as the reviews were mediocre, but I’ll watch in sky when it’s released and give you my verdict then.
Also, I’ve been watching Another Life on Netflix… pretty good sci fi series… if you’ve seen Lost in Space or Terra Nova then you’ll have a pretty good idea of how this goes. I have to say one of my favourite things is that Samuel Anderson plays the lovely William in it. You may know Samuel as Daniel in trollied or, more likely, as Danny in the recent Dr. Who series… love that guy!
My days are filled with Master’s prep, work, shopping and normal household stuff. . Shopping is usually pretty dull but yesterday I bought a sofa bed! Friends and family can now stop over if they don’t want to drive back.. I also love the principle of buying high-quality furniture second hand.
The place is run by a local couple and it’s all solid furniture (no chipboard laminated rubbish). They save stuff from landfill-so essentially it’s recycling- and people on a budget can get decent furniture that will last a long time. I just love it generally, a lot of our furniture came from there or freecycle…. please try it if you haven’t already.
