Howdy Peeps!
So I have some exciting movie news; this week Colin Trevorrow revealed a clapper board for Jurassic World 3 revealing the title as ‘Dominion’… you probably heard every Michael Crichton fan squeal with joy, as the title is very true to his style. There are also unconfirmed rumours floating around that Joe Mazello may return to the franchise (he played Tim, Hammond’s grandson, in the very first film)!! I’m so excited, I’m not sure I can cope with a whole year of waiting!!!!!!!!!!
Still on film news, The Invisible Man is out in cinemas now. I’m fussy about horror films (I’m a bit of a wimp and can’t cope with the throwing up that usually comes with exorcist-style films, and some are just too sinister) but this looks really excellent; I’d put it on-par with Woman in Black- more jump-scares than anything else but from the trailer it looks very well done with great visual effects.
Lastly on the film front, we are less than a month from the Live-action Mulan! Disney have been doing pretty well with their remakes and this looks to be going the right way. As with Aladdin, there have been more cultural details than the cartoons and they look like they’ve done a good job. Mulan was my daughter’s favourite when he was younger, so we will see what she thinks!
In less exciting news, we’ve had a clear-out and moved the furniture around. You may have seen my Instagram photo last night…I moved my desk and sacrificed it to Mr.B’s studies, (he has more paperwork than I do) so now I’m in his old spot typing on this cute little worktop. 🙂
I like the sorting and changing… good feeling to purge some clutter. 🙂
As a final point of interest, I Googled the spelling of Tim’s real surname and the Google Doodle tells me that it would be Sir John Tenniel’s 200th birthday today; he drew some of the early Alice in Wonderland illustrations (among many, many others). #teamchesh
