Hi-de-hi Peeps!
I’ve got a lot of random bits of news to tell you, so I’m going to lump them all together here.
Firstly, TODAY’S THE DAY!! 🙂 🙂 My daughter and I have been waiting for today since before Christmas! We’re going to see Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom at Teatime!!!! YAY! There will be a review tomorrow, then I’ll shut up…until the next film I want to see! 😉
I have loads of friends and family birthdays from today until the end of June, so Happy Birthday to all of you guys and gals! 🙂
We’ve been blessed financially this week and because we’d planned for a big bill that now isn’t so big, we’ve been able to bless someone else and save extra towards our goals…best feelings ever come from doing those 2 things!
I was a bit emotional yesterday as I had my last lesson with a lovely GCSE pupil, but I got a very sweet card and gift and was asked to return to teach the younger child in the new school year! I am thrilled to still be helping such a lovely family.
Lastly, I’m a proud Mumma. The teenager had a big music assessment this week and her band got put forward for funding (like a free tuition thing for 5-6 weeks) and won it…several teachers saying they have real potential. She’s also started the GCSE prep because, as the exams come to a close, the pupils and teachers are preparing for the next lot of GCSE pupils! (How is my baby that old already??) Above all her achievements, I’m most proud of her attitude; she’s not been big-headed or complacent, she works hard and is lovely to be around…so I’m looking forward to our cinema treat together this evening!
