Happy shortest day/winter solstice!
I love it because the dark evening make the cosy house full of Christmas lights even more appealing!
It’s also my half birthday (yay!) And an old friend’s birthday…. we’re all getting old, but I dunno how much wiser 😉
It’s been a day of last minute things: present swapping, fresh food shopping, bathing the dog, cleaning and laundry.
It’s been a great week, possibly the most relaxing pre-Christmas week I can remember with visits to family and friends and time at home just catching up or chilling. 😊 Bliss!
